Make Us Wise

Lord Jesus Christ, you are the true fruit of the tree of life. Make wise all those who are tempted by the forbidden fruit, that they may taste and see how good you are, who live and reign with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen

The Immaculate Conception

O God, you preserved the Virgin from all stain of sin through the redemptive Death of your Son, and thus you made of her a worthy dwelling place for him. Through her intercession, free us from all sin, that we may celebrate with hearts made pure the mystery of his Birth, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.

O Lord, you sent Saint Francis Xavier to the lands of the Rising Sun to preach there the end of the world’s long night of sin and death. Enlighten all who do not yet believe, and strengthen those who do, that your kingdom may dawn on all people through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
