Saint Laurence O’Toole

God of all holiness, who called Saint Laurence O’Toole from a life of quiet and solitude to be a shepherd of your people, a teacher of the clergy, and a friend of the poor, grant, we pray, that we may follow his example of perseverance and through his intercession arrive at the peace of your kingdom. Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini

God our Father, who called Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini from Italy to serve the immigrants of America, by her example, teach us to have concern for the stranger, the sick, and all those in need, and by her prayers help us to see Christ in all the men and women we meet. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Saint Josaphat

Lord, filled with your Holy Spirit Saint Josaphat laid down his life for his flock. Renew that Spirit in your Church; strengthen our hearts with your grace, so that, with the help of his prayers, we may be ready to lay down our lives for our brethren. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever and unto ages of ages. Amen

Veterans Day

Father, bless our veterans and all who serve our nation defending our freedom. For those who bravely gave their lives, grant them eternal rest. For those who are serving, give them courage. For those who served, we offer our gratitude.

And by Your grace may that day come soon when all people shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more (Isaiah 2:4).

We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen

Saint Martin of Tours

Lord God, you were glorified by the life and death of Saint Martin. Renew the wonders of your grace in our hearts so that neither death nor life may separate us from your love. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen

Saint Leo the Great

O God, who never allow the gates of hell to prevail against your Church, firmly founded on the apostolic rock, grant her, we pray, that through the intercession of Pope Saint Leo, she may stand firm in your truth and know the protection of lasting peace. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
