Your Word is the rock

Almighty and ever-living God, your Word is the rock in which we take refuge against all outward disturbance and inner turmoil. Pour forth upon your people the refreshing stream of living water which wells up from the heart of your Son, that we may dwell together in inward and outward peace, through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Saint Hildegard of Bingen

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

That We May Praise You

O God, worthy of all praise, the Mother of your Word sings for all eternity the hymn of your praise that she began on earth. By her example and intercession, lead all the Church so to live in this world that we may praise you for ever with her in the next. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
