O God, by the zeal of Saint Boniface, your martyr and bishop, you called a multitude of people to the knowledge of your name. Mercifully grant that we who keep his memory today may live and serve under his protection, through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.

O God of the martyrs, you called and strengthened Saint Charles and his companions to preach the Gospel by their steadfast fidelity to the commitment they had made in baptism, even unto death. Through their example and their intercession, strengthen us in faithfulness to the way of life which we have undertaken, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
