Heavenly Father, you granted countless graces to Saint Josemaria Escriva, choosing him as a most faithful instrument to found Opus Dei, a way of sanctification through daily work and the fulfillment of the ordinary duties of a Christian. Grant that we also may learn to turn all the circumstances and events of our lives into occasions of loving you and of serving all people with joy and simplicity, lighting up the ways of the earth with brightness of faith and love. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
