Father in heaven, Creator of all that is good, in your great love you looked on the peoples of Africa and raised up many men and women outstanding in holiness. Grant us your grace more abundantly as we keep their feast and rejoice in the wonders that you worked in their life. Let their example and prayers help us become living witnesses of your peace and abundance of life here on earth until the day when we shall be their fellow-citizens in heaven. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
