28th Sunday in Ordinary Time

“In many ways, the Eucharist is a foretaste of the wedding feast. The Eucharist is a foretaste of our life with God. On that day “God will destroy the veil that veils all peoples, the web that is woven over all nations; The Lord God will wipe away the tears from every face” (Is 25:9). On that day we will cry out, “Behold our God, to whom we looked to save us!” Until then, the Eucharist is our wedding feast and our deepest union with God. May we always be found prepared and worthy.” ~Fr. Satish Joseph

Lord God, open our hearts to your grace. Let it go before us and be with us, that we may always be intent upon doing your will. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen
