O God of all faithfulness, have mercy on us who have strayed from the covenant we embraced in baptism, and bring us into deeper communion with you through our Lenten observance. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen
