O God and Father, you brought life to the whole world by the power of your word spoken into the darkness of the primal chaos; you brought new life by the power of your Word made flesh, crucified and raised for our salvation. Keep us firm in the faith which Saint Athanasius taught and for which he suffered, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
