O God of glory and compassion, you rule over the powerful of the earth and you gather up the sparrow when it falls. Grant us wisdom to see your works in our daily lives and to praise you at every turn, through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
