Lord Jesus Christ, on the road to Emmaus you opened the eyes of your disciples to your presence in word spoken and bread broken. Grant us always the gift of faith to welcome your presence with joy and to live by your teaching, who live and reign with the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
