Father of peace and love, you endowed Saint Elizabeth of Portugal with the gift of reconciling enemies. Through her intercession give us grace to work for peace and so deserve to be called children of God. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
