Almighty God, you sent Saint John of Capistrano to comfort Christian people in a time of distress. Keep us, we pray, in the safety of your protection,  and give your Church lasting peace. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
