O God, who by the virtue of wisdom, the gift of eloquence, and the example of prayer and pastoral zeal, raised the blessed David to be patron of Wales, grant that, by his intercession, your Church may ever prosper and render you joyful praise. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
