O God, you sent your Son into the waiting world to give life in abundance to people of every nation and tongue. Speak to the world in our day through the eloquence of Word and sacrament faithfully preached, reverently celebrated, and profoundly lived by those who bear your name. Through Christ our Lord. Amen
