O God of all the living, you offer comfort and strength through the mystery of the cross. Make us faithful disciples of Jesus Christ, who died and rose again for the salvation of the world. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen
